Art Education in Fulton County Schools integrates the study of art history, art criticism, aesthetics, and art production. As a subject in our schools, art education is based on the belief that looking at, talking about, and making art are processes essential to the well-educated student. Art is intergrated into all aspects of our lives and can be used in all areas of learning and teaching. It is our deisre to lead students into gaining an understanding and appreciation of art and to enrich their skills in art making while expressing their creative ideas.
We are delighed to work with your children and are amazed at their creative abilities everyday. Their eagerness to learn and their enthusiasm to express themselves through art make our job a joy each day.
